Overview

LeadAlpha is a mobile investment-research product built for users who need a clearer view of companies, market events, risks, and long-term potential.

The experience organizes large amounts of financial information into structured sections, ranked signals, concise summaries, and focused research views.

Challenge

Financial research fragments quickly across news, company data, analyst opinions, long-form reports, and educational content. The product needed to make this easier to scan without oversimplifying it.

The core challenge was balancing market breadth against research depth, readable mobile layouts, clear hierarchy, fast navigation, and visible transparency about where each signal comes from.

Solution

LeadAlpha uses a restrained visual system that moves from quick discovery into deeper company analysis without changing its visual language.

Clean white surfaces

High-contrast typography keeps dense financial data readable at mobile size.

Structured cards

Each research area is a discrete block rather than one long dashboard.

Ranked signals

Scores and orderings do the first pass of interpretation for the reader.

Limited status colors

Green, orange, red, and blue carry meaning precisely because nothing else does.

Readable long-form research

Deeper articles keep the same type system as the data views.

Product experience

Inside the product

The LeadAlpha splash screen, the Your Stocks watchlist with tracked companies and live prices, and an Align Technology research view showing price, market cap, news sentiment and beta.

Stocks and company discovery

Users search and browse tracked companies through a clean, scannable list, with price, market cap, sentiment, and beta summarised on arrival.

Align Technology opened across its Financials, Outlook, Risks and Analysts tabs, revenue trend and margins, growth signals and key initiatives, ranked risks, and analyst ratings.

Structured company research

Each company is divided into Overview, Financials, Outlook, Analysts, and Risks, clear research areas rather than one long dashboard.

LeadAlpha screens showing AI-assembled output across the product, the watchlist, growth outlook, ranked news, key facts and Horizon scores, all built from retrieved sources.

A retrieval and summarisation layer

Tavily handles live retrieval across market news, filings, and company sources. Anthropic Claude and Kimi turn that raw material into the short “why it matters” summaries, ranked key facts, and long-form report digests the interface is built around.

The News feed with importance-tagged stories, an article view explaining why it matters, the Week in Review summary, and a research digest.

News that explains why it matters

The news experience prioritizes relevance, gives short context, and supports deeper reading, closing with a Week in Review.

Horizon ranking companies by long-term growth score, and a Tesla roadmap separating existing products from new opportunities.

Horizon, long-term company potential

Horizon presents ranked growth scores and deeper company roadmaps, separating existing products from new opportunities.

The Key Info company list, ranked key facts for Microsoft with source attribution, Ratings by Top Analysts, and an analyst sentiment breakdown.

Key Info and analyst signals

Key Info distills important company facts into ranked entries, while analyst views summarize market sentiment and its spread.

The Education research list and article, the Profile screen with account and appearance settings, and the Send Feedback form.

Education and account experience

Research articles, profile, appearance, and feedback flows stay consistent with the core app.
