Funko Box
A playful Shopify subscription store for collectors that makes recurring mystery-box tiers easy to compare while keeping the surprise and excitement at the center.
Funko Box is a playful Shopify subscription store created for collectors and recurring mystery-box purchases. Devket approached it as a connected product experience rather than a collection of isolated screens.
Funko Box needed to communicate several subscription tiers while preserving the excitement and surprise central to collectible mystery boxes. Customers needed to compare plans, browse collections, and understand recurring billing.
The tension was commercial clarity versus playful mystery, the store had to sell a subscription without spoiling the fun of not knowing.
Devket built the experience around subscription selection, character-led merchandising, collector content, and trust messaging, playful visuals wrapped around a clear purchasing structure.
Inside the product
Storefront and discovery
The homepage leads with the World of Funko Pop hero, then moves straight into the three subscription tiers, a franchise picker for Anime, Marvel, Disney, Rick and Morty and Star Wars, and the Pop Starter and Mystery Box entry points.
Choosing a subscription
Each product page pairs a gallery with the price, a 10% off badge, quantity stepper and Add to Basket, then explains what arrives each month through a description and shipping policy the collector can expand.
Basket and checkout
A mini-basket drawer confirms every add without leaving the page, and the full basket restates each subscription, its monthly price and cancel-anytime terms next to the total, order instructions and secure-payment marks.
The collection
My Collection turns the subscription into an ongoing record. Figures are grouped by My Collection, Franchises and Categories, each card naming the character and its Funko POP! series, with Load More extending the grid.
The account hub
One account screen carries the active subscription with its status, cost and auto-renew state, the customer service centre, delivery, communication, account and payment settings, and a wishlist where collectors mark the categories they want or do not want.
Support that keeps subscribers
Because a monthly box invites questions about amendments, returns and damaged items, support is built in: a threaded message list marks what is unread against an order number, with live chat available alongside it.
